The course can be linked directly to home education themes, school learning, or personal creative interests. Each session lasts 1.5 hours.

Topic plans will generally follow this structure:

Lesson 1: Explore ideas and look at artists relevant to the chosen topic.
Lesson 2: Create our own response using a new medium.
Lesson 3: Begin work on a final piece.
Lesson 4: Refine, finish, and add detail to the final piece.

All sessions are practical, and your child will produce work to take home each week. The course concludes with a finished piece that brings together the techniques and ideas developed throughout.
